I'm not sure what you are meaning here. Load data from where to where? Are
you talking about the budget upload process? In any event you can't load
packed numeric data from a text file. Packed data is unique to the AS/400
and so has to be translated through some process. One typical way of doing
this is from an Excel spreadsheet through a Client Access Transfer (using a
file definition) to a externally defined file on the 400.
You may want to re-post and include some additional information, such as
platform, release and level, etc..
