I did modified P4311 and did compiled, Our SVR header shows generation
level = 21 and pre-compiler command shows F4801 is overriden to F4801E.

Emad,

Thanks for your quick response. That was what I did. I put '11' in the
option field in SVR, hit enter, got SEU screen says 'F1201 is overridden to
F1201E, F4801 is overridden to F4801E'. Then I pressed F3 to exit and save
the file P4311 in F98CRTCMD/JDFSRC. That took me back to SVR screen. I
used '14' to compile the program. Did I need to do anything else special
for pre-compiler step? Thanks again.

No, you do not need to do anything else special for pre-compiler step.
However, make sure your are authorized to JDFSRC/F98CRTCMD, also I have
more in pre-compiler than you stated. Here is what I have:
