Running the Repost Active Sales Orders Program

If you are using allocations and have outstanding proposals, then you must validate the proposals to clear the commitments before you run the Repost Active Sales Orders program (R42995). If you repost a style item that is in a proposal, you may cause commitment issues for that style item.

From the My Oracle Support knowledge document E1: 42: Repost Active Sales Orders (R42995) (Doc ID 625504.1):

The Repost Active Sales Orders (R42995) UBE performs four distinct functions:
1. The UBE is used most often to recommit future orders (move orders lines from a future to current commitment state or from current to future state).
2. The UBE can be utilized when order quantities in the Sales Order Detail (F4211) file (where on hand has not been relieved) and commitments in the Item Location Quantity (F41021) file are not matching.
3. The UBE can be utilized when order amounts in the Sales Order Detail (F4211) file and order totals in the Sales Order Header (F4201) file are not matching.
4. The UBE can be utilized when order amounts in the Sales Order Detail (F4211) file and customer open order amounts in the Customer Master (F03012) file are not matching.
