Greetings

I have been requested to put together a comprehensive purging process for our JDE environment (A73 Cum 5 - upgrading to 12). I have been able to pick up some documentation related to various purge programs in the knowledge garden, which should kick-start me. Is there not however some consolidated guidelines, or reference documentations existing outhere that may be of available?
Secondly, i am very interested in finding out how other customers are handling integrity issues related to purge processes: I particularly was interested in a presentation made by Shell Canada at Focus 2000 "financial integrated archive", where principles of integrity checks and reconciliation were adressed via moded programs. Anyone outhere using similar processes?

You asked about Purge programs. Purging JDE data files is also recommended
for those converting their currency to the Euro. Your Cume 12 tape
includes all the purge programs (related to the Euro). These menus are:
G00231, G002312, G00233, G00234, G00234, G002341, G002342, G00235, G00236,
G00237. These cover Taxes, FASTR, Financials, Fixed Assets/Job Cost,
Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Service/Contract Billing.

The purge programs were accidentally omitted from the Euro ptf tape E9. See
