Hi List,
On full client for E1Local db connection it's desired to handle the TNS poisioning for CVE-2012-1675 since flagged in security audits.
With then turning off the COST parm for the net DB, Dynamic Registration (DYNAMIC_REGISTRATION_listener_name=off) we lose
the connection to the db (confirmed under LSNRCTL status). It only seems to operate with it set to on.
A sampling:
DYNAMIC_REGISTRATION_LISTENER = off
Is there an additional adjustment to allow that setting to now be off? Do I need to add for a local_listener or?
