We are on E1 9.0, tools 8.98.42.
I am trying to install a E1 fat client on a laptop. We previously had issues with this laptop so we reimaged it and now need to install the fat client.
The first step seems to be to install the Oracle local database via the Install Manager on the deployment server. However, when trying to execute the InstallManager.exe from the deployment server, we get an error 'The program can't start because MFC71.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem'.
Looking on the deployment server, the MFC71.dll exists in several places, but does not exist at all on the laptop we are trying to install.
Any suggestions as to what we are missing?
