For records > 400 using Import Functionality on Custom Application no data uploaded

Thanks for reading and appreciate your feedback. We are on E 9.2. I have developed a custom application with 30 fields on the grid. It is a Headerless Detail form. A CSV is to be used to upload all these 30 columns. When I try uploading upto 300 columns it works well. But when my count goes > 400 - 450 the Upload Assistant screen shows the records, but when I click continue it does not load anything. I have uploaded screen dumps for reference. The program has no logic to hide/show fields. All fields are visible. I discussed with CNC and he says issue is with application. As per CNC the JDE limit is 1000 records irrespective of number of columns if 4 or 30. When I tried with 4 columns it works for 1000 records. I am not sure where is the issue ? Does application have limit just on columns for overall data uploaded. Am I missing anything. Any pointers, help appreciated.
