EEO report P068515

Hello,
We have just been informed by the US Federal Gov that the EEO report P068515
format is not in compliance, they had a format change in 2/99, and we must
resubmit the corrected format by 10/30. After talking to JDE their
preliminary findings are that this report was never intended to be used for
federal reporting but they have not ruled out make the necessary changes,
but probably not by 10/30.
Here is my question to you folks. How do the rest of you handle your US EEO
reporting? We have 92 locations that must be reported on individually. Any
insight you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

HI,
I have checked with three companies (including ours), all handle EEO
reports by outside services.

Do you know what's the new format? we may able to change it for you. If
this not acceptable in the time frame, you may look for an outside payroll
service in your area to offload your information.

Thank you for your reply, it pretty much confirms what we were told by JDE
in that they never intended for the canned EEO report to meet regs. We do
have the in house resources to make the corrections and on Fri we were given
an extension of 30 days so that helps a lot. Our shop is about 95% vanilla
so it really pains me to have to make changes to JDE code especially when
they keep up with other regulations (state and federal) I don't understand
why they don't on this one. Would you provide the name of your outside
service that handles your EEO reporting so that we might check into it for
the future to prevent us from having to keep up with changes? Thanks again

The outside service company name is ADP (www.adp.com), also one of the
companies uses JDE OneWorld on Oracle uses outside service "AA Planner" a
product of People Link company (www.peoplelink.com).

Other companies (six of them) uses in-house staff to customise these
reports based on different government agencies requirements.
