Development over a WAN for Xe

I have two questions:

(1) What are my options for doing development over a WAN for Xe?

(2) With Xe is it possible to run fat clients over a WAN? What
about a WAN with dual T-1's connecting the Enterprise site with the
user site?

Any other vital information would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of
time for your time in answering these questions.

Kevin :

1) PC-Anywhere, CA Control It.
2) Don't even dream about it! Every WAN user needs at least 256 Kb bandwidth
for a less than decent WAN connection,
OneWorld protocol is too chatty.

Re: RE: Development over a WAN for Xe

I agree

Although another option is to use VNC (http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/) - its as good as PC Anywhere and the best part is it's free ! I use it everywhere I can !
