Deploying Display Decimals Changes

Hi List/Forum,

We are planning to change Display Decimals in logistic (QTYINV Class + QNTY) on more installations on more releases of OneWorld.

Can somebody confirm that is DDDICT, DDTEXT, GLBLTBL spec deletions an appropriate way to deploy this changes to the workstations and servers?

Please, mark your OW release(s) where you experienced your results in your reply because we are interested in this issue on B7321, B7331, B7332 and XE too. Thanks!

Any other helpful relevant hints will also be very appreciated.

This is correct, We did it of B7332. we had not data in the production
files, but the test file did not seem to work correctly. We just =
recreated
out test system. The change was made, it was just the data.=20

Spec deletions on as specified (dddict,ddtext,glbltbl) on workstations and enterprise servers are required and effective. Table Conversions need also to be run in each environment to convert table data (R30QNTY). If you have terminal servers, you should build a fresh set of specs using r92tam and r98crtgl on a fat client and copy them to the respective spec files on the terminal server.

We have already checked out the mentioned ott-01-0015 document.
We (not me ;-) will examine that do we have run UBE R30QNTY or not if we have an "empty" database for logistic/manufacturing.
