Our Finance team is thinking to change the name and may be the structure of existing BU and work center.
We can see that this BU is associated to historical assets that are no longer depreciating. This BU has few old G/L entries during divestiture time frame.
The Work center has historical rates and routings though the routings are for part numbers that we are no longer making.
We would like to know if we can go ahead with changing the names of these existing BU and work center knowing the BU has few old G/L entries.
What is the recommendation and if we need to consider anything else if there is not an issue in making these changes.
