BSFN\'s Failover to LOCAL

Here's an excerpt from a client jde.log file. This is from a WinNT4 workstation. I have two of these and both get the same errors. I do not have this problem on my W2K or WXP workstations, but they aren't used for the same functions. The NT4 statiosn are used in advanced whse. I get this most prominently in P4205, but not consistently.

I saw this BSFN override error during testing after making a mod to the Enterprise jde.ini file due to a type-o, but I fixed that and did not seen the problem again until we cut over to live with ERP8 from B7332 and started using these two NT4 stations in ERP8. I'd rather not reload these PCs with WinXP due to some unknown factors with some 3rd party software. Any ideas?

Re: BSFN\'s Failover to LOCAL

It looks like you have a communication issue between the NT4 machines and the enterprise server or DB server. Check your TCP/IP properties for both machines and compare them to a working machine.

I hope this helps!

Re: BSFN\'s Failover to LOCAL

Nothing wrong with the IP settings or HOSTS file. Oh well. I just changed these two PCs to use Citrix instead of being Fat Clients. Problem solved.
