I have a use case where a user goes into Multiple Forms and applications Multiple times to do the exact same thing. I want to create a JDE Custom application to consume a AIS Orchestration internally.
1. Create an employee master application for an new hire. (Applications 1 - 3...
Best practices/tools/technologies to expose AIS server from outside the network for 3rd party integration. Esp when JDE is on OMCS/OCI ?
JDE AIS Servers on OCI/OMCS is not accessible outside Oracle/Company Network.
AIS - 'Application Integration Server' is used for integration via REST APIs...
I have a crazy requirement from one of the high ups in the company to have a custom word prediction feature on JDE application screens. The predictions are not just Auto Complete words or grammar but its JDE data, meaning when you enter a Item description all the Item description with...
This is an existing architecture and the child UBE's are about 10 of them and I have to check what tables they touch and if the Audit Info overrides at any point and assign the user over there. I was thinking of not getting into the child UBEs at all and do it beforehand some how in the driver.
Yes. derived from GetAuditInfo Table I/Os some NER calls with user name passed in.
where can I find the code in the scheduler which initializes the environment for the user and run the UBE ? may be I can do that.
I have a requirement where there is an existing driver UBE that is calling Multiple UBE dealing with different Interface files. Now they want to see specific User names as the audit info in the tables the child UBE updates.
Driver UBE D calls UBEs A,B,C,D
There is no future fields and the third party is not very co - operative to change tables.
But the turning off the Buffered Inserts did the trick... File IO Now shows error for the inserts and I can run a proof mode and save it from creating integrity issue at their end.
This is a a good pointer. I can see it is turned on and let me try and turning it off and see if i can detect error.
And yes there is a Batch number but its not getting inserted into the foreign table (bad design I guess) and hence cannot roll back.
I agree I would have done that too.. the TC's existed when I came into this and they wanted me use them. I recommended to throw them away and gave the estimate on the CBSFN. They did not want to throw away the TC and redo the mappings. This what they said literally "those TC's are running wild...
Here is the deal guys. I have some multiple foreign tables that need to insert / update and I am using TC to get this done. Now if there is an error it should be all or none. I was not able to put a transaction boundary around the individual TCs. Now I can write a fancy C BSFN to load the table...
