OneWorld Information Tool

I have only used the tool for a few minutes, but it looks like there is a lot of useful information. I used it with Demo Jr. but am currently accessing a Citrix JDE connection. Is there a way to point the tool to the Citrix box or would the application have to be installed there? Thanks

Hi,

I'd like to try your tool but when I try to run it it gave me a message that the version has expired. Can you provide the latest version of the tool? Thanks.

Thanks a lot Mr. Trevor. I could get through this time and downloaded the tool. It is great.

Best regards

Trevor,

You can now edit the first post of this thread and keep the attachment current if you prefer. This wasn't possible in the past.

Thanks! I love this tool. It has enhanced my life; I can’t image not using it. I use MS Access for joins but this is great for quick data retrieval, fast too. I create excel sheets with just the fields that I need with this tool and then bring them into access.

i was able to run this on Xe 7333. and works perfect!

can we use this tool against 8.12 as well?

wud appreciate a quick reply.

thanks

Hi Trevor,

Today while I am trying to get info of a BSFN, the tool returns false info. I tried to get info for the BSFN - B0000011, for which it is showing the data structure as D0000009. Actually the data structure is D0000011. Can you please correct me if I am doing some thing wrong while using the tool. In all other cases it gave me correct results.

On my release it actually shows D0000009! See attached.

The same shows on road2fusion.com site:
1. [100.00%] EditFiscalDates
Business Rule Object Name: B0000011 Parent DLL: CALLBSFN Location: Client/Server Language: C Data Structure D0000009 - Get?Next?Journal? Parameter Name Data Item Data Type Req/Opt I/O/Both szDocumentType DCT char NONE NONE

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for your reply. It is quite interesting to see. What ever the results I posted are in B7333 release on Stand Alone Version. Even When I sew the BSFN Seach screen, it showed me with the DSTR D0000009. When I selected it in the Event Rules, it showed me D0000011. Please see attached for the same.

It really surprises the different result

Hi Gov,
A real magic; I'll open a call with Denver, can't let this mistery annoy further JDEListers generations ...
Thank you for capturing it!

Hi Gov,
Denver says it's not a big deal: "Within OMW the data structure displayed is coming from the Object Librarian table F9862. If this function is opened or inserted into any application it correctly pulls the data structure definition from the header file B0000011.h"
What should we make of that?
