Following our acquisitions of Optio® Software, Create!form®, and FormScape®, as well as our own organic market expansion and innovation, Bottomline today is clearly positioned as the global market leader for Document Process Automation (DPA) solutions.

We continue to invest in all 3 document platforms, particularly as it relates to the Create!form suite, evidenced by the Fall 2008 release of Create!form v6.4 for our Windows-based customers, and the GA earlier this year of Create!form v2.8 for the AS/400. The updates will continue later this summer when we expect to announce the availability of Create!form v7.0, featuring support for Windows® Server 2003 and 2008 64-bit, as well as designer support for Vista and the USPS Intelligent Mail® barcode. Of course, all customers currently enrolled in Bottomline's standard maintenance and support program may take advantage of these software releases at no charge, with the option to engage our professional services team for additional upgrade support as needed.

With the release later this year of Transform™ Foundation Server, our existing document output customers will also have the opportunity to take advantage of a new platform while ensuring the integrity of their existing solutions. Transform Foundation Server will extend enterprise application administration controls to include fail-over, load balancing and enhanced audit capabilities. The server will also be backwards-compatible with Create!form, allowing customers to continue to use their current output product without the need to redesign existing form projects. Furthermore, existing design tools can continue to be used with these projects, providing even greater choice and flexibility.

Transform Foundation Server joins the Transform DPA Product family to provide a unified technology architecture for business process applications including inbound document processing, outbound document management and storage. The Transform product family also includes Transform AP, our invoice automation solution for JD Edwards™, as well as Transform Content Center for digital document storage and retrieval, both of which are available today. Bottomline will also be releasing a new member of the DPA product family, Transform Output, a sophisticated new design tool enabling simplified, yet comprehensive document and form creation.

Our primary goal is to continue to support your existing Bottomline technology investments, while facilitating a pain-free, structured migration to Transform and all the exciting innovation yet to come.
