Does anyone has jde setup where E1 server is on Linux OS and database is sqlserver on windows OS?
How e1server can establish connection to sqlserver ?

As per the ideal setup SQLServer and E1 server on same Windows OS, connect to database using odbc.

Via ODBC, obviously. Just google Linux ODBC driver sql server - there's lots of tutorials, MS Knowledge Base etc.
It's nothing special really.
