Fake Check Out

Is there a easy way to do a fake check out in XE. I have done this before in the old OL but not OMW.

Please give detailed instructions.

I would continue to do it in OL (in xe). You can still get to the
object librarian (P9860). There is a hack in the jde.ini you have to
enter to allow yourself to get into it, otherwise you receive an error
message. Look in the jdelist archives as I am sure it is published in
there in a previous thread.
If anyone knows of a way to fake a checkout in OMW or some other tool
in XE (other than OL), I am interested in hearing it as well.

still can/gotta do via OL...

fyi.

Setup a save location. Save your object..then do a check-out and then a restore...This will give you the same functionality as a fake check out.

Easy way is to change coloumn POOMWCHS´s value to 1 instead of 0
you find coloumn POOMWCHS in F98222
