Error:General Error in Method, Check-In????????

I had created a new UBE in PY and then promoted from 26 > 38 and had it deployed to PD. I am unable to create a version in PD via batch versions. I see no errors in JDE logs or OMW logging. What could be causing this error?

What was the status of the project, when you created the UBE - and had you Check-In it. Have you custom OMW configuration, because under 21 status are we create/mod an object and Check-In goes to DV7333 in standard config, and standard promotion path is 21-26-28-38 - so is a bit strange your 26 > 38 promotion.

Let us know more details. Was it deployed to the Machine & Path Code, where you tried to create version.
