Hi List

The topic of how to check file structure (fields, definitions) in World has came up many times. I can access the screen to VIEW via Hidden Option 40 but how do i get the field structure printed out on hardcopy? Is there a command for this? When i press FN+F9, i go to print the Help Instructions instead.

Pls advise, i must be missing some steps. Thanks.

There are two options here. Go to Software Versions Repository (type SVR), inquire on the file, then in the Options (OP) field take option 25 "Print Video, Report or File Illustration."
Or, you can accomplish the same thing by going to the Dream Writer Versions List (VL), inquire on P98DDSP, and create a version to print out all the files you're interested in.

Hope this helps.

In A7.3 there was not a print function. I A9.1 there is. I have a
Print Layout command that can be called from any command line. It shows
the following (if you can see it):
<<Picture (Device Independent Bitmap)>>

I could send the source code off line if you'd like.

My copy and paste did not come through. Anyone wanting to see the
report layout can email me off line and I will send you an example. If
you like the report I can then send you the source for the command.
