Software Protection Environment Error.

Hi,

We have just upgarded our AS400 (development machine) from V5r2 to v5r3 and now when i try to access menus within JDE i get the Software Protection Environment Error, can any one point me in the right direction to what i shoul dbe doing to resolve this issue.

You need to call Oracle to get new SPC (Software Protection Code). They
will direct you of how to change it.

You need to re-initialize your software license manager (refer A73 SLM
manual).
or, perform a quick call j98802JQ from any signon that do not use the JDE
environment (i.e. Qsecofr).
Remember to logout all active JDE users prior to do this.
