Problem with Table Conversion E1 8.10

Hello,

We are in an upgrade Xe through E1 8.10, and we have problems with Table Conversion using flat files. The systems seems not to recognize the input format of the flat files and it does anything in output.

In the case of a JDE table input, the systems create an output file with strange caracters (see attached file).

Has anybody already had this problem ?

Thank you

Nicolas

Re: gotch\'a

Good morning sviardot

We have this same issue with flat files in E1 E810 and have been struggling with it for at least 2 months now. Can you please shed some light on Unicode and how we can set up our environment to run using this unicode so to be able to write to and read from text files. We are supposed to be sending EFT payments via text files to the banks and this has been our major stumbling block.

Thanking you in advance

Kind Regards
Babs

See the thread: UNICODE VS. ANSI from a few days ago. Check your Peoplesoft documentation and search for 'Flat File Encoding'.
