Hi Guys
Right now we have XE version and it is accessed by end users through Citrix server. We have plans to upgrade to 8.11 and in this release there is only web access to end users. There is one very interesting question that came into picture during discussion. In Life sciences companies, Application Access need to be controlled. Meaning that either we need to control the configuration of users's pc or need to find another way in which the application behaviour must not be impacted by the user's actions.
Controlling the configuration of users' pc is not easy, given that they have access to internet( They can download a lot of stuff and change the configuration which may impact behaviour of the application).
Another workaround could be we could publish "Internet explorer" on a citrx server ( in that way we can control IE) and then users can use published IE to access the web application. But we also want to make sure that users can not access this web application using local IE on their pcs. Is it possible? Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
