DOS batch program / UBE

Hi,

Help ..!!! I trying to execute a local DOS based batch program ( batch program makes a temporary entry to the users local JDE.ini file ) within a UBE before the actual UBE gets submitted to the AS/400 by creating a NER and having it inserted in the initialize section of the actual UBE .. This appears not to be working for me .. Can anybody out there give me an idea as to how this can be done besides having to use Report Interconnect ( which I have not tried yet )?

I appreciate the fact that you allowing me to use " your tools " if only
I can get to them. Is it possible for your to "zip" the files and email
it directly to me ? If these tools of your do the trick for me, I'd be
forever in your debt.
