Language Retrieval
      #155461 - 02/08/10 01:57 AM

Hi,
In my report program, I am retrieving the address book info which is in Korean text (alpha name, mailing name, addr line 1, etc)..of a customer from X01100.
When I run the report, I cant see any Korean text being displayed...all that appears is some garbage text.
Am I missing something? Kindly suggest how to retrieve a language from DD.

Tom.

In the Change Printer File (CHGPRTF) settings,
set
User specified DBCS data . . . . *YES
It worked!

Use parameter IGCDTA, which should appear if you use F4 then F10 and page down a lot of times.
