TNT Fireworks is seeking Application Development Manager to lead its Application Development Team. TNT Fireworks is located in Florence, AL. The Application Development Team consists of full time developers and business analysts and are frequently augmented by external resources, sourced globally. The Manager of the Application Development team coordinates daily with their counter-part on the Infrastructure team, working together to deliver IT based solutions that solves real problems for real people in the real world.

Responsibilities include

• Leading the development team in their efforts to deliver stable and reliable IT solutions to their customers world-wide.
• Leading the development team in their efforts to design, construct and deliver new solutions using a variety of technologies, centered on Enterprise One.
• Provide technical leadership on technologies used in application development.
• Guide efforts and strategies to educate our customers and improve their business process competency.
• Guide the efforts of Business Analysts supporting our customers and train new Business Analysts in IT disciplines at they are rotated into this role.
• Manage the day to day activities of your team, setting expectations and managing your customers expectations based on your team’s commitments.
• Manage electronic relationships with TNT’s customers and suppliers to ensure smooth, efficient trading relationships.
• Mentor your team on both technical and business subjects to ensure their professional development and advancement.

You should posses the following skills and attributes

• 10 Years overall IT experience.
• Several years experience leading development teams with an emphasis on managing multiple concurrent projects. Experience leading development teams is required.
• In depth experience with the E1 development tool set and environment
• Experience with a broad range of EDI transactions, standards and transports
• Experience with Java, C++ and SQL across a range of platforms
• Experience with Consumer Package Goods and large Chains Store customers is a plus.
